Empower Collective Center is a new nonprofit educational organization coming to Maynard, Massachusetts — and we believe it is exactly what MetroWest needs right now.
We are not a school. We are not a library. We are not a coworking space or a business incubator. We are something new: a Community Intelligence Center dedicated to lifelong learning, ethical innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and public service.
What Is Community Intelligence?
Community Intelligence is the collective ability of individuals, organizations, businesses, and community members to learn together, share knowledge responsibly, solve problems collaboratively, and create opportunities for everyone — not just for some.
At Empower Collective Center, our mission is simple: to make knowledge, research, education, technology, innovation, and opportunity accessible to everyone.
What We Are Building
The flagship Empower Collective Center will be located in Maynard, Massachusetts, at the heart of the MetroWest region — accessible to residents of Acton, Concord, Sudbury, Stow, Hudson, Littleton, Boxborough, Westford, and Marlborough.
Inside, visitors will find:
A Community Learning Commons — a flexible, welcoming space for collaboration and learning
An AI & Technology Lab — hands-on artificial intelligence and digital literacy education
An Entrepreneurship Center — business planning, mentoring, and financial literacy
An Innovation Lab — prototyping, robotics, 3D printing, and creative problem-solving
Meeting Rooms — available to nonprofits, community groups, and local organizations
A Media & Podcast Studio — for educational content and community storytelling
A Community Event Space — hosting 100–150 people for public lectures and community gatherings
Who We Serve
Empower Collective Center is open to everyone — students, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, retirees, educators, veterans, small business owners, researchers, and lifelong learners of all ages and backgrounds.
We believe that learning should not end with graduation, that technology should strengthen communities rather than divide them, and that every person deserves access to the knowledge and tools they need to thrive.
